Start Walk 1

Shortly after the path levels and you can see the Refugio de Reguero Llano to your right, follow the cairns up the shoulder of Cuerda del Refugio del Rey to the South. This levels into a meadow, you will see the waterfall of the Garganta de las Pozas and the start of the climb to Morezon. Towards the end of the broom (during which time look out for Bluethroats) pick up the cairns leading south to the Refugio. Once you see the ruins the fuente is to your right. The path can then be seen along the ridge. It is worth going out of your way slightly, towards the ridge before taking the ridge path, good picnic area and astounding views down Garganta Blanca to Candeleda and Embalse de Rosarito in the Tietar Valley to the South.

The Ridgepath is easy to follow until Puerto de Candeleda where you will find a large carin marking the pass. At this point take the path North leading down to the Garganta de Prao Puerto, cross the stream and follow the path down the course of the river which should now be on your right. This path rejoins the main stoned path from the Plataforma.
